Tim Clark and Ronaldo Loyo Join our Board

Tim Clark, CEO, AdventHealth Apopka and Ronaldo Loyo, Financial Advisor, Edward Jones, have been appointed to the Board of Directors of Dave’s House.

“We are thrilled to have Tim and Ron join our volunteer leadership team,” said Ellen O’Connor, Dave’s House Executive Director. “Their expertise in strategic planning, community outreach and financial management will contribute to our success as we expand our programs to provide services and permanent supportive housing to people in our community,” she said.

During his career, Tim Clark has held leadership positions with AdventHealth including COO of AdventHealth’s West Orange campuses, which include AdventHealth Winter Garden and AdventHealth Apopka. He is the 2021 Chairman of the Board for the Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce. He is a Board member of the Hope Community Center.

“In caring for a family member, I have experienced the challenges that mental illness presents to individuals and their families. I am passionate in my commitment to supporting the community in innovative, collaborative and meaningful ways,” said Clark.

He holds a MBA from Webster University. He obtained an associate degree in accounting and bachelor’s degree in business administration and long-term care administration from Southern Adventist University.

Ron Loyo has previously held financial industry positions with Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. He was the executive VP and program chair for the Heartland Latino Leadership Conference. In Omaha, Nebraska, he served on the board for Partners for a Healthy City. He was a founding member of The Latinos Unidos student organization. He has worked with underserved communities in Chicago, Omaha and Phoenix. He holds a MBA and a BA in psychology from University of Nebraska at Omaha.

“In my volunteer community advocacy, I seek to create meaningful change, touch the lives of people who may have little or no hope and be a part of organizations that value human kindness,” said Loyo.
