With much excitement, the Board of Directors is proud to welcome Pam Gould as President and CEO of Dave’s House, effective January 2016. Pam’s professional achievements and personal connection to the mission of Dave’s House complement the non-profit’s efforts to provide individuals living with severe mental illness permanent and affordable supportive housing.
Throughout 2015, Pam was a key stakeholder in leading Dave’s House to substantial growth, most notably increasing the supporter base and benefactors by 300 percent. She possesses strong executive experience from the healthcare, hospitality and entertainment industries. She possesses expertise in the arenas of fundraising; community relations; strategic development and budgeting; and donor engagement and retention.
She has developed and managed successful programs for both profit and non-profit entities, including Health Central Foundation, Island One Foundation and Orlando Health. In 2010, she founded Advocate Enterprises, assisting non-profits develop operational and strategic best practices. In 2013, it was through her consulting that she began to work with Dave’s House.
Since 2012, she has served on the Orange County Public Schools District 4 Board of Directors. In 2014, she was appointed as the school board’s representative on the education foundation board. In 2015, she received the 2015 STAR School Board Member of the Year award from the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations. This award recognized her efforts in building stronger relationships and better alignment between the education foundation, the school district, individual schools and the community.
