We know that, due to the economy and widespread unemployment, there will be a tremendous increase in homelessness, and the need for permanent supportive housing for men and women with serious mental illness.
We are working now to help these vulnerable individuals in Central Florida. At Dave’s House, being Somebody’s Someone is about people helping people with serious mental illness rebuild their lives, escaping homelessness and living in a supportive home.
We are continuing our development of permanent supportive housing for people with serious mental illness. We are also partnering with other Central Florida non-profits, agencies and businesses to expand our resident development programs that help our residents improve their personal and professional skills.
We’ve been celebrating global caring and sharing all month, as part of the Nonprofit Matching-Fund Initiative’s #GivingTuesdayNow campaign.
You can help Dave's House as we develop more housing for homeless men and women with serious mental illness and continue providing supportive programs for our residents. Your donation has double the impact, now through May 26, through available match funds on both national and statewide levels. We thank you for your support!
