Thank you to all the volunteers from BH Companies who made the landscaping of Aspire Health Partners’ Thistledown Apartments absolutely beautiful! And thanks to WFTV and WESH 2 News for helping us share the news! 

 

Over 50 volunteers worked Tuesday and Wednesday to spruce up the grounds of the 26 apartments that provide transitional supportive housing for over 52 residents. They cleaned out the garden beds by weeding, planted new plants and mulched the entire grounds.  

 

“We are so grateful for our volunteers and their hard work and commitment by helping to keep the grounds fresh, clean and nice for Aspire’s transitional supportive housing residents,” said Ellen O’Connor, Dave’s House executive director. “This is so important for them to have a place they can call home, knowing that their surroundings are very well kept. We love to do projects like this that help our partners, furthering residents on the path of progression to long-term mental wellness.”
