Ellen O’Connor, Dave’s House Executive Director, recently visited our friends at Edible Education Experience (EEE), which operates the Emeril Lagasse Foundation Kitchen House & Culinary Garden on King Street in College Park. It features a Teaching Kitchen and a 3,000 sq. ft. Culinary Garden.
We are developing some of our gardening and culinary Dave’s House 360° Resident Development Programs with this fabulous non-profit.
Dave’s House resident Colin is working as the House Assistant at Edible Education Experience. His duties include providing event setup, tear down and general maintenance of the EEE facility. He lives nearby and loves how convenient it is for him to get to. Another resident, Greg, had been in this position; he recently relocated out of Central Florida.
In the video, EEE Co-Founder and Garden Educator Brad Jones chats with Colin about Colin’s impressions of the facility and what he enjoys most about his new position there.
