Mader Southeast Construction Team Members take a break from installing new kitchen cabinets in our Clarcona house.
Our residents in the first Dave’s House home in Central Florida will soon have a remodeled kitchen! Thanks to Board Member Adam Eckelbarger, CEO with Mader Southeast Construction, for donating the construction materials and manpower for this project. Ted Sivard, general superintendent, is managing the project logistics. The Mader team will be installing new cabinets, counters, backsplash and lighting.
“Providing modern and efficient living spaces to people in need is one of the ways Mader supports the Central Florida community,” said Eckelbarger. “Our entire team is proud to volunteer their construction expertise in projects like this kitchen remodel. We have seen how a fresh design can inspire people’s daily living over the years. We hope the residents enjoy their kitchen’s new features,” he said.
“The kitchen is such an important spot in the home,” said Carolyn Kreuzpainter, supervisor for Aspire Health’s Kate’s Place Clubhouse and Dave’s House Orlando homes. “For our residents, it’s a central location where they can make their meals and socialize with each other. Mader Southeast’s donation of the materials and labor to recreate this home’s kitchen helps Dave’s House maintain our homes, ensuring our residents have the ‘home tools’ to live life comfortably every day,” she said.
Wyndham Vacation Ownership has also donated a number of kitchen appliances to Dave’s House homes. The donations have provided needed upgrades for our single-site homes and transitional apartments. We are so grateful to Board Member Elena Norman, vice president, corporate communications, Wyndham Destinations, and Chris Hall, chief engineer-multi-site, Wyndham Destinations, for making these donations possible.
