As a Dave’s House Benefactor, you impact lives – helping to end homelessness for individuals living with serious mental illness (SMI). Each home we open provides hope, health and stability to its residents who are able to live meaningful and productive lives.
Our 2017 initiatives include:
- Our 10th Single Family Home, serving four residents, for individuals with SMI who are at-risk of homelessness because their temporary housing is ending or their current housing is vulnerable (e.g., living with an aging parent).
- 27 Dave’s Housing First Apartment Homes, serving residents with SMI and co-occurring disabilities who have been chronically homeless.
Support for both of these models consists of ongoing mental health case management; medication evaluation and treatment; mental health/substance abuse treatment; 24-hour/365-days-a-year crisis intervention and stabilization services; day support programming and vocational services; life skills training; and coordination with primary health care and dental services, provided with our behavioral healthcare partners,Pathway Homes, Aspire Health Partners, Henderson Behavioral Health and Hope South Florida.
As a Benefactor, you join forces with other community leaders who are committed to assisting Dave’s House in its pursuit of creating stable homes that provide lasting recovery for residents.
